Slowfox Wines Mudgee

Rob and Kate moved up from Sydney 7 years ago and bought an established Vineyard and started up the label Slowfox wines which come from Brambletye Vineyard. They run about 7ha of vine with a combination of trellised and bush vines. All the fruit is handpicked and made in a micro winery on site. They do wild yeast ferments when they can and basket press before putting them in a mixture of French and American oak barrels.

They only do very small amounts of good quality wine. Slowfox signature wine is a big voluptuous grape variety Malbec with this they do a Bordeaux style blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Malbec and the big delicious mouth filling Malbec on its own.
