After retiring from business in 2007, we purchased Mollymac Cottages from it’s original owners and have added a recreational room for groups offering a barbecue and separate toilet, as well as washing machine and games. We also later built a studio showing collectibles and art..

Janette was originally born in Stanthorpe, and grew up in Severnlea on her fathers property, originally purchased back in 1907, (Pictured – Jeanette & her sister with their dads horse (Left) Jeanette & her sister in the orchard (Right)) and worked as a local fruit Orchard by her family.

As we both had on going history, friendships and happy memories from the region, we decided to return to the Granite Belt highlands, and adopt a country lifestyle choice on acreage along the Severn River.
