Birdsville Race Tours

Birdsville Race Tours started with a visit to Birdsville Races in 1979 by Mick Hanslow and friends and in 1990 started the first tour to this outback racing event ,dirt roads and basic accommodation tents only no public showers and all the dirt dust and flies you could handle after 24 yrs. roads are bitumen, accommodation still tents now supplied ,meals and showers at caravan park which has an air of civilization about it ,but still the feel of outback rough that makes this experience very unique.

Must be on your bucket list somewhere every Australian has heard of it and wants to go some time .A must do on the Australian outback calendar .This will be an experience that will last a lifetime of memories and yarns that will bring a smile to the face of everyone envious of your description of the event through eyes.

This Tour will offer you this experience and more with stopover at either Mitchell with the Artisean Spa or Charleville depending on available accommodation, the Yabbie races at Windorah 2 days of racing in the outback Desert Carnival, Fred Brophy's world famous boxing tent, which you can be in if you choose.
